If you have never visited Newcastle Airport before it would be wise to get the lay of the land before arriving to catch your flight out. This is particularly the case if you need to park your car in one of the car parks there for the duration of time you will be away for.

The only thing you should remember before you take a look at it is that it only includes those car parks inside the airport perimeter. Other parking companies may have car parks further away from the airport that have cheaper tariffs, so make sure you look for those separately as well.
But back to the map – how good is it?
Well you will get a good view of the layout of Newcastle Airport when you see it. For starters you will see that the car parks are colour coded, making it easier to see where each one is in relation to the terminal. The terminal building is handily marked in purple so you cannot miss it!
There is a small express parking area near the terminal building, which has a charge of £1 for twenty minutes according to the map. This also has a number of wheelchair spaces and assisted parking facilities.
The next area you will see is the short stay parking location. This is much bigger and is located just to the north of the express parking area. It is pictured as yellow on the map. As with the express parking, it is designed for very short stays only, and not for leaving your car for longer than a few hours. Thus if you are travelling abroad you will need to park elsewhere.
Just north of this there is a medium stay car park which is much smaller than the short stay one. And if you continue north you will find the large long stay car park on the map. This is coloured in blue and features spaces designed for disabled users as well.
